Magazine Cover: Air Pollution/Contamination

Magazine Cover

In my magazine cover I'm talking about the issued of air pollution/contamination. I'm trying to make people paid more attention to this problem. In my magazine cover I give facts about air Pollution and I also wrote what I think a Magazine talking about this issued should include like causes and effects and tips on how to reduce air pollution. For this project I used A picture of a car from the Internet and I did the rest using InDesign and Photoshop.

My Place

What I understood of this project was the we needed to make a collage the tells a place that is very import to me. So this project made me think of what it is important to me. So I think that actually there is not the place that it is important but who is in there.

So to start this project first I started to think about a place that could represent a time where all my family was together and I remembered this place in Mexico where we went all the family and spend a whole day in family. So I decided to used this picture to represent unity. Then I started to think about who i want to be in this collage and decided to put my mom, my sister and me to represent my family, the most important thing for me. 

As I said before my theme is my family and unity, this is very important for me because I love my family and we have always be very united.

I enjoy this project because it was very fun to work on and made me remember of my family and all the goods old times. 

Art21:Pepón Osorio

This artwork is called the "Scene of theCrime (whose crime?)" Pepón used mostly red and white in this artwork. the red carpet represents the crime scene and the anger. The white dinning room represents richness. This artwork relates to space because as he said he is trying to fit something in the location where this doesn' belong to.  i think Pepón is trying to express the feelings of anger but at the same time a place where you can meditate. I chose this artists because he represents the Latino people in the art world and i chose this artwork because I found very attrative, it  catch my attention with the intensity of the red color and because I think he uses very good colors to represent the feeling he want to represent in this artwork. 

Principles of Design

In my variety design I used the principle of design because I used many shapes, color, value, and lines . I decided to used this because the principle of design variety used many different types of elements of art. with InDesign I was able to draw all kinds of lines used many different colors used different shapes and different kinds of values. In my pattern design i create crosses of colors black and blue because if you fold a cross in half every half will be the same.

Art

 I think art is a really great way to express your feelings and mood. When you created an artwork you can show the viewers how was you feeling in that moment. Art for me is a great way to eliminated any bad thought and a great way to reduce stress. As a kid  I always loved to draw and paint, but as I started to grow up I started losing those skills. When I started to take art classes in high school my love for art returned and my search for my artists' skills begin.
